Is it Always Right to Use CPR?

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is a quintessential piece of first aid knowledge that everyone should know. If you’re at the scene of a heart attack or cardiac arrest, your knowledge of this procedure could save the victim’s life. Knowing how to do it and knowing when to do it are two different things though. Christie Aschwanden of the Washington Post explores the question of when it is right to use CPR, and when it may not be appropriate.
